Grande Riviere is a fishing and small-crop community with approximately 350 inhabitants. It is one of the more remote settlements in Trinidad and Tobago, located on the north coast between Toco and Matelot separated from the rest of the island by the mountains in the Northern Range.
It is a safe and friendly village, guests are encouraged to wander around to feel the carribbean vibe. We also know all the local guides who can take you on hikes through the rainforest.

Port of Spain is a 3 hours drive from us.
From Port of Spain, drive towards Sangre Grande. At Sangre Grande, the road forks. The north fork leads to Matura, and around Galera Point to the north coast villages of Toco, Grande Rivière and Matelot. From Port of Spain it should take you about 3 hours to get to us.
