Grande Riviere is a fishing and small-crop community with approximately 350 inhabitants. It is one of the more remote settlements in Trinidad and Tobago, located on the north coast between Toco and Matelot separated from the rest of the island by the mountains in the Northern Range.

It is a safe and friendly village, quests are encourage to wander around to feel the carribean vibe. We also know all the local guides who can take you on hikes through the rainforest. Trek up the river to the waterfalls and swing in jungle-vines, or be guided through the flora and fauna of Grande Riviere’s fruits and spices.

We can take you out to sea on a tour of coastal caves, where if you’re lucky you can spot a turtle or two swimming close to the shore.
